My wife and I knew we had to replace our windows as most had lost their seal and were not insulating any longer.  We checked a couple of contractors, but the cost just kept us from pulling the trigger.  Then we thought of Jon Rutherford, who had made and installed Plantation Shutters for us (great job BTW!).  We called him to see if he could replace our windows. We told him about our problem and asked him if he could keep the bid as low as possible.  Jon told us of something neither of us knew before and Mary is in real estate.  What he then said blew us away! Jon said we could just replace the glass and leave the frames in place!  I never knew that could be done.  He bid the job out and it was a fraction of what other contractors were trying to get by replacing all our windows. They never told us about just replacing the glass and I can't help but think they were trying to get as much out of the job as they could. Jon did what was right for us and now we have perfectly performing insulating windows at a price we could not imagine.

Texas Windows replaced all of the 25 year old windows at my house and also installed beautiful plantation shutters. I cannot believe the difference it has made to the appearance of my home. Texas Windows, across their entire organization were always professional, courteous, timely and I believe a great value. From the start, there was no sales pressure but only courteous and knowledgeable service.
